After 18 of 36 races, we have a new NASCAR Cup Series championship leader for the very first time, and it came about in messy fashion.

Visit newsbetting.bond for more information.

A power steering failure for Tyler Reddick left him with a last-place finish, while Denny Hamlin struggled with splitter damage after a late-race spin, finishing 26th. While Reddick secured the fastest lap bonus, Hamlin's result was enough to erase the eight-point deficit and move the driver of the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota into the championship lead, a single point.

The biggest mover in the standings is easily race winner Shane van Gisbergen, who jumped three positions back inside the Chase, now 14th and +36pts over the cut-line. Alex Bowman was another big mover, albeit far deeper in the standings, jumping three positions from 32nd to 29th after a top ten finish.

The biggest loser was Erik Jones, who dropped three positions down to 17th, falling outside of the Chase. Austin Cindric now sits on the bubble, 12 points ahead of Jones after the final road course race of the 2026 season.

Robert Lewandowski agrees Chicago Fire move as MLS lands another global superstar

Robert Lewandowski has agreed a deal to join Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire following the expiry of his Barcelona contract.

Visit esporist.org for more information.

The Poland captain is set to sign a two-year contract and will become one of the highest-paid players in MLS.

The 37-year-old is expected to complete the move later this summer after choosing Chicago over a number of other options.

Lewandowski recently visited the city while weighing up his future before deciding to continue his career in the United States.

His arrival represents one of the biggest signings in Chicago Fire’s history as the club looks to establish itself among the leading teams in MLS.

Club officials believe the veteran striker can transform the side both on and off the pitch.

Chicago are preparing to move into their new home, McDonald’s Park, in 2028 and see Lewandowski as a marquee figure capable of boosting attendances and raising the club’s profile.

The city’s large Polish community is also expected to provide a strong connection with one of the greatest players in Poland’s football history.

Lewandowski leaves European football after a glittering career spanning more than 15 years at the highest level.

After beginning his professional journey in his homeland, he established himself as one of Europe’s most feared goalscorers during spells with Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

He collected 10 Bundesliga titles in Germany before adding three La Liga crowns with Barcelona.

His trophy haul also includes the 2020 Champions League with Bayern, while he finished among the world’s elite forwards throughout his career.

Chicago hope Lewandowski’s experience and goals can help propel the club into MLS Cup contention.

The plan is for him to partner league-leading striker Hugo Cuypers in what could become one of the most dangerous attacking partnerships in the division.

The Fire are also continuing discussions over a move for former Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka.

Club officials hope the opportunity to reunite with his former team-mate could strengthen their chances of convincing Goretzka to make the switch to MLS.

The necessary immigration paperwork is expected to be completed as quickly as possible, giving Lewandowski the opportunity to make his debut shortly after the league resumes following the World Cup.

His signing also continues MLS’s recent trend of attracting some of the biggest names in world football.

With Lionel Messi, Son Heung-min, Thomas Muller and several other established stars already in the league, Lewandowski’s arrival represents another statement of intent as MLS continues to enhance its global appeal
